Back in July The Killers announced a 18-city North American tour to begin 2018. The trek kicked off on January 5, 2018 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and the next city on the tour is Miami, Florida on Tuesday.

Last week (January 17) the tour made a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Once I heard that the band was going to perform there I jumped at the chance. The Killers are one of the bands I have always wanted to see and they did not disappoint.

They played 23 songs during the performance with lasers, lights, fog, confetti included! During the encore, the fans even started doing the Minnesota Vikings "Skol" clap. The band had 9 musicians all up on stage yet only 2 original members, Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. The other 2 members decided not to go out on tour this time around.

Overall it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. They brought the energy, excitement, interacted with the crowd, played the ballads and of course the hits. If they ever make a stop here in Sioux Falls, I would highly recommend going! Oh and I even caught a drum stick!
