Why Do People Park Like This In Sioux Falls?
I was parked at a Sioux Falls business, and when I came out, someone had parked so close to my car that I couldn’t open the door and get in. Who does this?
The Silver Subaru was parked so crappy close next to my CRV that I couldn’t open my driver's side door enough to get in.
If I did open it as far as I could, I was going to door dig the side of the Subaru. I didn’t want to do that.
So I climbed in through the passenger's side door and crawled across so I could back my car out of the space.
I tried to comprehend why someone would park this badly and not re-park in that spacious spot. What could they possibly be thinking?
A)-They are seeing impaired and shouldn’t be driving in the first place.
B)-Their GPS said "You have arrived," so they just stopped wherever they were at that exact moment.
C)-They thought the lines were just suggestions, like serving sizes on snack foods.
D)-They're conducting a social experiment on how much personal space violation people will tolerate.
E)-They're protesting the tyranny of standardised parking spaces - one crooked park at a time.
F)-They park exclusively using “The Force”, but they're still a Padawan learner.
G)-They genuinely believe their car looks better at a 37-degree angle.
H)-They hate Minnesota Vikings fans.
I)-They simply couldn't care less about anyone but themselves.
