New Year, New Helpline Center Volunteer Opportunities for You

If one of your resolutions this new year is to give more of yourself to others who need help in our community, the Helpline Center is ready, willing and able to help you keep that promise. It doesn't matter where your interests or passion lies, there is something or someone you'll connect with.

Here are just a few of the volunteer opportunities available now:

• Helpline Center - Needs people to fold t-shirts they will be giving out for "211 Day". You're needed now through Friday, January 17th, anytime from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• East River Foster Care Network - Needs volunteers to help run their Foster Care Clothing Closet on Tuesdays & Fridays.
• Center of Hope - Desperately needs people to help them move to their new location now through January 18. You can help them in a variety of ways, from packing items to moving furniture.
• EmBe - Volunteers are needed to help with the In Her Shoes Empowerment Breakfast event in February. You'll assist with set up, tear down, registration and more.
