Easter is coming up at the end of the month, and that means the folks at Cadbury are busy doing their Easter Bunny tryouts once again.

One of this year's bunny contenders is actually a pet from right here in Sioux Falls.

Cadbury has been doing its bunny tryouts for more than thirty years. Each year they give a variety of pets from across the country a chance to become their beloved Easter Bunny.

Dakota News Now is reporting that on Wednesday, (March 6) Cadbury announced 32 different pets are once again vying to become this year's Cadbury bunny.

Like in previous years, the great majority of the pets in the competition are made up of animals like guinea Pigs, cats, dogs, and of course, bunnies. However, one of the critters in this year's competition is not a furry little friend, it's a Bearded Dragon named Apollo from right here in Sioux Falls.

Apollo the Bearded Dragon will go head-to-head in a bracket-style elimination tournament on Cadbury's Instagram page. His first opponent will be another bearded dragon named Betty.

You can help Apollo become the cream of Cadbury's crop during their version of March Madness.

Round one of the voting for the 32 different semi-finalists begins at 11 AM on Monday, (March 11). The Creme 16 starts on (March 13), and the field narrows to 8 on (March 18) with the Eggcellent 8. Cadbury's Final Fur gets underway on Wednesday, (March 20), and the Championship Match happens two days later on (March 22).

Cadbury will reveal the name of the winning bunny on Monday (March 25).

Don't forget to Hop To It! Cast your vote for Apollo starting on Monday, so he has a chance to represent Sioux Falls on TV this year as the Cadbury Easter Bunny.

Seven Mind-Blowing Wonders' of South Dakota

I think most of us have at least heard of the "Seven Wonders of the Modern World." We might not be able to rattle them off as easily as McDonald's value menu items, but chances are you've heard of at least some of them, right?

There's the Great Wall of ChinaChichén Itzá, a Mayan City on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The ancient city of Petra, in Jordan. Machu Picchu in Peru. Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro. The Colosseum in Rome, and finally, the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.

Every state in the nation is known for having a series of natural wonders and signature landmarks. So, I thought I would come up with my own list of the "Seven Wonders of South Dakota."

The following is what I consider to be the signature landmarks, monuments, and natural wonders that are synonymous with the great state of South Dakota. I tried to give both sides of the state a little love while comprising this list.

You might have a few additions...
