These 2 Minnesota Cities Are Now Cheating Capitals of America

Brace yourselves, Minnesota - this year’s ranking of the top cities for adulterous behavior is here, and two of our own cities have joined heavy hitters like Miami and Sin City on a list you probably don’t want to brag about.

While neither Minnesota city claimed the top spot, both ranked high enough to raise some eyebrows. Yikes!

Now, you’re probably wondering who’s behind this scandalous list, and how reliable is it? The data comes straight from Ashley Madison, the dating site famous (or infamous) for its “life is short, have an affair” tagline.

Ashley Madison’s team points out that the timing of this list is especially intriguing. “As we head into winter, what many online daters call ‘cuffing season’ when people look to lock down a partner for the colder months - it’s a fascinating period.”

The findings are based on which cities have the most signups per capita. According to Ashley Madison, this list is a guide for “would-be adulterers” to figure out where the most, ahem, action is happening.

Florida dominates the list with three cities in the top five with three cities - Miami, Orlando, and Tampa - landing in the top five, proving it’s not just the weather heating things up down there. Eek!

So, where do the Minnesota cities fall?

Well, my friends, the Twin Cities, both Minneapolis and St. Paul, are on the list. Minneapolis came in at number 7, while St. Paul was number 10!
