NIL, or Name, Image, and Likeness, has changed the landscape of college sports. Athletes can become millionaires simply by staying in school. And while there are rareties like Caitlin Clark who reach the NIL stratosphere, other college athletes are using NIL differently. One of those athletes is Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht.

Becht has decided to use his own NIL earnings to give back to the community. The Des Moines Register reports that Becht will host a football camp for fifth through eighth graders in the Perry Community School District. The camp will be held at Perry High School on July 13th and will be free for kids to attend. Becht will cover all the expenses through his NIL earnings as well as make a donation to the Perry Community Schools, according to the Register.

In a statement through the We Will collective, Becht stated, "Perry has gone through so much in the past year, and this was a small way to show support and provide a fun day for the kids in Perry." The Register reports that several other current Cyclone football players will join Becht as camp counselors.

The camp is exclusive to kids in the fifth through eighth grade in the Perry Community School District. The Register reports that sign-ups are still open. Anyone wishing to can contact events@wewillcollective.com
