Minnesota Authorities Find Human Remains in Burned Out Camper
McGregor, MN (KROC-AM News)- An investigation is underway after authorities discovered human remains in a burned out camper at a rural Minnesota property.

Limited information has been made public as of Wednesday morning. The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office announced the discovery and subsequent investigation on Tuesday.
A news release says the fire is believed to have started between Sunday night and Monday morning.
Human Remains Found in Burned Out Camper in Aitkin County, MN
Deputies were dispatched to a home in Shamrock Township, which is about 9 miles north of McGregor, on the report of a camper and vehicle being burned overnight.
The report of the burned vehicles came in shortly after 8:15 Monday morning. Authorities located the human remains inside of the camper.
The remains were transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification, the news release says.
The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the State Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation. At this point authorities have not indicated whether or not the fire started under suspicious circumstances.
