VIDEO Tour Of North Dakota’s Josh Duhamel’s Doomsday Bunker

North Dakota's very own Josh Duhamel is betting on his very own "Safe Haven" if all hell breaks loose.

A place where his family could wait out an apocalypse of some kind?  North Dakota seems like a good place to go, providing it's not a nuclear war.  We all know if a nuclear war broke out, there wouldn't be much left of our state.  If you need a refresher, here's that FEMA map showing how much of North Dakota would be blown to smithereens.

In a non-nuclear situation, North Dakota could be a pretty good place to hide out.

An invading army might not even feel North Dakota is worth its time.  If our country went to hell with a civil uprising, again you would think North Dakota would be a safe place to be.

Well, one Hollywood type and his family are preparing for the worst but it appears it's NOT in North Dakota after all.

It was first reported by Men's Journal, and several other major publications, Josh Duhamel purchased a couple of primitive cabins in the woods of North Dakota and built his own little compound.  When he bought the cabins, they didn't have running water or electricity and were overrun with mice.

Since then, the doomsday transformation has taken place.  Both cabins now have electricity and well water.  They sit on 54 acres and one of the cabins is on the water.

This Hollywood actor who was born and raised in North Dakota feels his family could live there off the land indefinitely.  He's even growing crops and plans to take up hunting.

As it turns out, our resourceful doomsday prepper Josh Duhamel's doomsday cabin is actually in Minnesota.

A video has surfaced recently showing the doomsday bunker is located in our neighboring state to the east.  Here it is from a reporter by the name of Graham Bensinger.

I know I was suspicious when I saw Josh's Instagram photos.  I thought it could be the Turtle Mountains area in North Dakota but it looked like Minnesota to me (too many trees), and as it turns out I was right.  Reportedly this bunker is on a private lake in the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota area.  Josh's father also lives in the area.

At the very end of the video, you can see a map showing the crystal clear waters of "Juggler Lake", which is in Becker County in Minnesota.  It's located northeast of Detroit Lakes and not too far from the headwaters of the Mississippi River.
