National Publication Calls South Dakota ‘Most Underrated State in U.S.’
To much of America, South Dakota sits smack dab in the middle of 'flyover' country, a collection of states deemed not worthy of being seen anywhere other than from the window of an airplane.
But a lot of the people who actually venture to the Mount Rushmore State couldn't disagree more.
The latest? A national publication with high praise for South Dakota.
In Midwest Living's story, 'I've Visited All 50 States—This One is The Most Underrated', writer Abby Price says South Dakota 'surprises visitors with a diverse mix of landscapes, Western towns, and buzzy cities.'
In the article, she singles out eight 'must-sees' to get the full South Dakota experience.
