The lineup of entertainment at the 2026 South Dakota State Fair continues to take shape.

The latest addition is the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping band, The Fray.

They will take the grandstand stage in Huron, Friday, September 4, at 8:00 P.M.

The Fray was formed in Denver in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King.

The band enjoyed success right away when their debut album, How to Save a Life, landed in the Top 20 and sold five million copies. The album also spawned two Top Ten singles, Over My Head (Cable Car)' and 'How To Save a Life'. Both songs received Grammy Award nominations: Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group.
