
Two Major Sioux Falls Bridges Face Lane Closures For Scheduled Inspections
There may be traffic delays in your future if your travels take you across a pair of Sioux Falls' busiest bridges this week.
Beginning Wednesday (September 9th) two bridges are scheduled for regularly scheduled inspections. The work will force lane closures to allow crews to perform inspections and bridge deck surveys.

Traffic will be maintained through the work zones. Lane closures will be in effect:
Wednesday, September 9th - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
The southernmost lane of the Tenth Street Bridge downtown, over the BNSF Railroad switchyard, will be closed.
Thursday, September 10th - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
There will be various lane closures on the Veterans Parkway bridge over the BNSF Railroad and Big Sioux River.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the work zone and may want to consider alternate routes.
