Parade Plans Scrapped for 2024 Sioux Falls Zombie Walk
The Sioux Falls Zombie Walk will be missing one important thing in 2024.

Organizers of the annual event took to social media this week to announce that budget constraints have made it necessary to scale back plans for the parade portion of the October 26 gathering.

The remainder of the event will go on as planned at 8th & Railroad Center in downtown Sioux Falls.
This year's schedule:
Noon:
- Zombie Make-Up
- Zombie Walk costume photo contest
- Thriller Dancers flash mobs
- Zombie Walk button sales
- Parking Lot Party with Remedy Brewing Company beverages, organization/vendor booths, and a South Dakota Aerial & Arts circus sideshow act
1:00 PM:
- Zombie Walk group photo
4:00 PM:
- Grand prize drawing
Profits from this year's Zombie Walk will benefit the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz and The Compass Center.

I was in Canton, SD, and I happened upon a new mural.
It was really cool and that got me thinking that I know of a few murals in Sioux Falls, but I bet there's more than I realize. So, I put it out on social media for the people of Sioux Falls to tell me where all the murals are!
A few of them I had never seen, or never even been to that part of town, and a few of them, I drive by all the time and never noticed!
I know a few businesses have murals inside their establishments, but I decided to keep it to murals that are totally open for the public to see. No need to be 21!
