It's already been a lucrative month for lottery players in the Tri-State Area, with several jackpots of six figures already claimed.

South Dakota is boasting the latest big winner.

According to the South Dakota Lottery, an anonymous player won $100,000 in the September 14 PowerBall drawing. That ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store on East Rice Street in Sioux Falls.

Iowa's big winners this month have come via scratch-off tickets.

The Iowa Lottery says a pair of $100,000 jackpots were captured in the Mega Crossword game - one on September 3 in Sabula and the other September 12 in Norwalk.

Minnesota's big September winners have come with both scratch games and drawings.

According to the Minnesota Lottery, the first $100,000 of the month came in the September 4 PowerBall drawing with a ticket sold at North Star Gas & Grocery in Henning.

Two days later (September 6), two players hit it big on scratch tickets - a $200,000 winner at Canterbury Park in Shakopee as part of the Black Ice game, the second a $100,000 winner at Kwik Trip in Rochester as part of the Safe Cracker Crossword  game.

Another lucky player in the North Star State fell just short of a six-figure payout with a $95,982 winning North 5 ticket from Speedway in Golden Valley, during the September  12 drawing.
