An impending blizzard in the Upper Midwest is forcing local healthcare providers to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Both Avera Heath and Sanford Health have announced that the majority of their clinics in the Tri-State Area (Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota) will be closing at noon, Wednesday, February 22.

The National Weather Service has the Sioux Falls area under a Blizzard Warning from 9:00 AM Wednesday to noon Thursday, with 9 to 15 inches of snow possible and wind gusts as high as 50 miles per hour.
