Christmas Eve and Day are fast approaching. If you're heading to, or hosting a Christmas get-together, now is the time to check your pantry and fridge, and make a shopping list. You don't want to find that you're out of butter at 10:00 AM Thursday.

• Costco will close at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve and will be closed all day on Christmas.
• Sam's Club will close at 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day.
• Target stores in Sioux Falls will close at 8:00 PM on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day
• Walmart stores in Sioux Falls will close at 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve and will also be closed all day Christmas.

Is Hy-Vee Closed on Christmas?

According to their website, Hy-Vee stores in Sioux Falls and everywhere else will close at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.

Are Lewis Drug Stores Open on Christmas?

For Christmas Eve, most Sioux Empire Lewis Drug Stores will be open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

On Christmas Day, the Lewis Store at 37th and Minnesota in Sioux Falls will be open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

But, call ahead to your Lewis to confirm, especially if you need pharmacy services.

• Franklin Food Market - Open 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM
• Fareway Grocery stores in Sioux Falls will be open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve. All Stores closed Christmas Day.
• ALDI stores in Sioux Falls will close at 4:00 PM on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day.
• Dollar General - Christmas Eve open from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM, closed on Christmas Day
• Dollar Tree-Christmas Eve open from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, closed on Christmas Day
• Menards in Sioux Falls closes at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas.

Sunshine Foods in Sioux Falls will be open from 6:00 AM until 5:00 on Christmas Eve. Then all Sunshine Foods will be closed on Christmas Day

Luckily, it looks like our friends at the various gas stations and convenience stores in Sioux Falls will be open, along with these stores.

• Casey's will close at 6:00 PM Christmas Eve and open on Christmas Day at 10:00 AM
• Kwik Star stores will remain open 24 hours.
• Many Circle K stores will keep their 24-hour schedule.
