The 2025 Sioux Empire Fair: Everything You Need to Know
When and Where is the Sioux Empire Fair?
The 86th annual Sioux Empire Fair is coming up quickly. The annual celebration of local agriculture, live music, and funnel cake is August 1 through 9, 2025.
Just like in years past, the Sioux Empire Fair will be held at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds on the west side of Sioux Falls.
Admission Prices and Special Deals
Admission to the fair will include the grandstand concerts.
- Adults (13 and up): $10.00
- Children (6 - 12): $5.00
- Children (5 and under): Free
There will also be some admission specials:
- Free admission Monday, August 4 - Friday, August 8 until 1:00 PM
- $5.00 Admission for ages 6 and up on Friday, August 1
- Free gate admission each day to Veterans and Military Personnel, plus 1 guest, with a valid ID
All-Day Rides and Siouxper Pass Info
The carnival will open at 5:00 PM on August 1st. Wristbands will be available at the Midway Ticket Kiosk for all-day rides. There's also the Siouxper Pass, which includes fair admission, grandstand entertainment, and unlimited carnival rides for 1 person. You can find more info HERE.

This year's grandstand entertainment features something for everyone, from country, rock, rap, the Fiesta Latina, and of course, rodeo.
