Inside Abandoned Illinois Video Store Full of 1000’s of VHS Tapes
If you have a nostalgia for video stores as they used to be 30 to 40 years ago, you have to see what explorers found inside an abandoned Illinois video store. It's full of thousands of VHS tapes, vinyl albums and also some antiques.
Dark Exploration Films on YouTube just shared this exploration a day or so ago. They didn't divulge the location, but commenters confirmed it's what remains of Fox's Flea Market and Fox Hollow in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois which has been abandoned for years.
What they found inside just might blow you away if you're nostalgic for the era of VHS tapes and vinyl albums.

Many have theorized why this amazing Illinois rest stop location ended up being abandoned, but I can't confirm so I won't add to the speculation. All I know is that someone should go inside and find a way to preserve all of this old media while they still can. It's an era before digital movies and music when physical media ruled. If you grew up with this as your weekend entertainment option, you'll want to remember it. Let's hope someone can save it all before the elements make it go away forever.
