Is This Really What Babysitters Get Paid In Sioux Falls?

A couple of folks at work were talking about finding someone to watch their kids so they could go out on a much-needed date night.

The conversation turned to compensation.  It's been a while since I've hired a high school kid to babysit my kids.  When my kids were young I think we paid about $2 bucks and hour for a sitter.

That wouldn't cut it today.  According to the 'Babysitter Calculator' at Care.com you should be paying about $13.50 per hour for one kid.

So how much do you pay your babysitter in and around Sioux Falls?
