Iowa Star Wars Fans Turn Snowstorm Into Epic Lightsaber Battle

What do you do in Iowa during a snowy blizzard if you are a Star Wars fan...you break out the light sabers! Check out this video!

A snowstorm in Waukee, Iowa, became the backdrop for an unforgettable Star Wars showdown last Thursday night.

Waukee is a town of around 34,000 just west of Des Moines.

Rachel Weaver caught the whole thing on video: two rivals, armed with glowing red and blue lightsabers, facing off outside Waukee High School in the middle of the storm.

Whether they were a Sith lord and a Jedi settling an old score, or just two fans who couldn't resist the dramatic atmosphere, the battle was cinematic.

As for who won? We don't know...but I'm sure the Force was with them.
