According to the report, the top-ranking states offered a balanced combination of low cost of living, strong job markets, excellent educational systems, and high-quality healthcare facilities.
States with thriving tech sectors and diversified economies tended to score well, as did those with robust environmental protections and recreational opportunities.
Several Midwestern states saw improvements in their standings due to successful efforts to attract new industries and enhance quality of life for residents.
