Huset’s Speedway Gearing Up For The ‘World Of Outlaws’ Return

The month of June has become a big racing month here in the Sioux Empire.

The "World of Outlaws" is motoring back to Huset's Speedway in Brandon on June 18 - 21st.

The "Huset's Hussle," otherwise known as the Greatest Show on Dirt, is making its way back to the Sioux Empire's premier race track with four days of racing action that will have more than $800,000 in purse money on the line.

Dakota News Now reports that racers will compete for two six-figure rewards during the 2025 World of Outlaws event at Huset's.

Opening night is Wednesday, June 18, with prelims, followed by a race with $100,000 on line Thursday night, June 19th.

Then it's a clean slate again on Friday, June 20th, with another round of prelims, followed by the finale on Saturday, June 21st, with $250,000 up for grabs.

According to Dakota News Now, the World of Outlaws High Bank Nationals winners over the past three years included Sheldon Haudenschild in 2022, David Gravel in 2023, and Michael “Buddy” Kofoid in 2024.

Again this year, the Huset's Hussle will feature many of the top drivers from the World of Outlaws Sprint Car and Late Model Series.

And if you're old school like me, you probably remember the old Huset's Speedway radio ads from the 80s that announced a race time of 8 PM sharp! These days, the race times are a little different, gates open at 4:00 PM with Hot Laps starting at 7:00 PM, and a race time of 7:30 PM sharp!
