Do you think you have what it takes to pull a 30,000-pound firetruck around?
You can find out on Sunday, (August 25) during the "2nd Annual Heroes Pull" for South Dakota Special Olympics.
It's an opportunity for you and nine of your friends to display your tough guy skills as you attempt to pull a Sioux Falls firetruck or a SWAT Bearcat in a competition-style contest.
According to Dakota News Now, various teams will be competing against each other that day to see who can pull the firetruck and the BearCat 40 feet in the fastest amount of time.
If you would like to participate, but can't or don't have enough time to assemble a team of ten people to compete, folks from the South Dakota Special Olympics will have athletes on standby that day to help comprise a team.
Event Organizer Nancy Lehner told Dakota News Now, that the Heroes Pull is designed to help raise money for equipment and other things that South Dakota Special Olympics athletes need throughout the year.
The Heroes Pull event competition is perfect for the entire family. You don't have to participate to get involved, you can simply stop out and cheer on your favorite team of athletes to victory.
