Don't come to the Haunted Farm if you're looking for a quiet night out in nature. Nope, this is a place where blood-curdling screams might just punctuate the evening air. So be prepared to be scared!

The Haunted Farm actually has two terrifying attractions: the creepy Haunted Barn, where "every corner hides your worst nightmare", and the Haunted Woods, where "every shadow is alive!" There are also Haunted Hayrides where you can enjoy the spooky farm atmosphere.

The Haunted Farm is located near Worthing, South Dakota, at 47449 276th Street. Tickets are $25, and you can expect up to 2 hours of chills and thrills. They're open every weekend in October, beginning this Friday, October 3.

Here is their schedule:

  • Friday, October 3 & Saturday, October 4 from 7 to 10 PM
  • Friday, October 10 & Saturday, October 11 from 7 to 10 PM
  • Friday, October 17, from 7 to 10 PM
  • Saturday, October 18, from 7 to 11 PM
  • Friday, October 24, from 7 to 10 PM
  • Saturday, October 25, from 7 to 11 PM
  • Friday, October 31 & Saturday, November 1 from 7 to 10 PM

You're advised to bundle up as it cools down at night now and wear shoes that can handle some farm mud. When you're done getting thrilled and chilled, you can stop by the heated Snack Shack, sit down, and enjoy a warm drink and some hot food, such as hot dogs and pretzels.

The Haunted Farm really is a great place to get your Halloween creep on, so for more information, see them online and on Facebook.
