Downtown Sioux Falls Rolls Out New Digital Passport

Downtown Sioux Falls Inc. is rolling out a new app. They will be launching the 'DTSF Digital Passport' on January 2, 2020. Digital Passport users will be able to experience Downtown Sioux Falls like never before by gamifying much of downtown’s offerings.

The first phase of the Digital Passport will serve as the ballot to vote in the 7th Annual Downtown Burger Battle. As participants cast votes, they earn points. Top point earners will be rewarded with prizes, like DTSF gift cards.

According to DTSF President Joe Batcheller, “The next step in gamifying the downtown experience will include downtown’s cultural offerings by laying virtual scavenger hunts that incorporate audio, photography, text, and video to create a multi-faceted storytelling experience.”

DTSF credits the partnership of Avera Health and AARP South Dakota for supporting the Digital Passport.
