The Full Circle Book Co-Op in downtown Sioux Falls has become the target of vandals twice in the past month.

There was some speculation the book store located on West 10th Street was the recipient of a hate crime after the store recently placed a flag in support of transgender rights in front of its building.

But, as Dakota News Now reports, police no longer believe that is the reason the popular book store has been egged twice during the month of February.

Sioux Falls Police spokesperson Sam Clemens told Dakota News Now, authorities, have identified six people responsible for the vandalism. Five of the people are juveniles, and one is an adult.

According to Clemens, investigators have determined the acts of vandalism were not the result of a hate crime. It now appears the individuals involved "didn't like" one of the store's owners.

As of right now, no charges have been filed in the case. Police intend to hand the case over to the Minnehaha County and Lincoln County state's attorney offices. They will make the final determination on whether or not charges will be filed.
