Donations To Feeding SD Top $62K

Weeks after Senator George McGovern's funeral, donations continue to come in to Feeding South Dakota in his honor. The running total? $62,500.

McGovern's life mission was to feed the hungry and his family wanted the money funneled to the Backpack Program, which gives a sack of food to students who don't have anything to eat over the weekend.

These donations will feed 431 students for an entire year.
