Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM, but you'll have a chance to win them before you have to buy them with Ben and Patty and "Ride Like the Wind" trivia all next week, March 2nd through 6th

A Music Legend: The Journey of Christopher Cross

If you're a child of the '80s, Christopher Cross's music is a part of the soundtrack of your life. He burst onto the music scene with his self-titled first album in 1980. That album won five Grammy Awards that year, including the "Big Four" most prestigious awards: Record of the Year (for the single Sailing), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also Sailing), and Best New Artist.

During his 40-plus-year career, Christopher Cross has sold 10 million albums, won 5 Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination, and five Top 10 singles. Within a year of the first album's release, Cross and Burt Bacharach wrote Arthur's Theme for the movie Arthur, which was the Academy Award Winner for Best Song that year.

Cross started his own music label and, since 2007, has released 8 albums of original material, including A Christopher Cross Christmas and The Cafe Carlyle Sessions a jazz-inspired album of hits and favorites.

Celebrate 40 Years of Music

The latest project for Cross is entitled The Complete Works. It celebrates his 40 years in the music business and is a collection of material from all 12 of his previously-released CDs.
