
The Group ‘CAKE’ to Rock Sioux Falls in May at W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds
Sioux Falls can have its cake and listen to them too later this spring.
The alternative rock band CAKE will be making a stop in the Sioux Empire this May.
Word broke on Tuesday that CAKE is planning to make a stop in Sioux Falls on Saturday, (May 31) at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.

CAKE, known for popular songs like "Never There", "Short Skirt/Long Jacket", "I Will Survive", "The Distance", "The Guitar Man", and more will be out on tour starting this April.
Playing festivals and amphitheaters across the country, CAKE plans to make stops in several states like Arkansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, Mississippi, and even right here in South Dakota in late May.
Dakota News Now reports that CAKE is busy working on their ninth album which is due out later this Fall.
CAKE's popularity has remained strong throughout the years, their most recent album, "Showroom of Compassion", debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart upon its release.
Tickets to see CAKE go on sale beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday, (February 7). Prices will start at $35.00, along with the applicable service fees.
Advance tickets will be on sale online only. Tickets will also be available at the Fairgrounds once the gate opens on the date of the show.
