Every foodie living in Sioux Falls should be all over the Sioux Falls Food Tours that showcase the best eateries in the community.

Each Sioux Falls Food Tour is designed to give guests a varied tasting experience.

As of right now, the tours have been focusing on all the great restaurants and eateries throughout the downtown Sioux Falls area, but, as the tours continue to grow, tour organizers say additional tour options will be available.

Dana Wohlwend, the Sioux Falls Food Tour owner told Dakota News Now, "We meet at a brewery just because it’s easy to gather. You don’t have to be seated like a restaurant. So, we’ll start. First drink is on us and then after that, we’ll go to different locations and try different foods for three hours. We’re walking, so it’s about a total of a mile, a mile-and-a-half, depending on the route.”

According to Dakota News Now, as the tour operator Wohlwend is responsible for picking out the locations and the foods sampled during the various tours. When you take the food tour, be prepared to get a little history lesson about Sioux Falls as a side dish.

Wohlwend says the food tours have become very popular with both Sioux Falls residents and those visiting the community. Not only will tour guests be able to sample some of the best food Sioux Falls has to offer, but they also get to nibble on little factoids about the city that chances are they probably didn't know.

Several food tours are planned for downtown Sioux Falls throughout the month of March. Learn more about the tours and make reservations here.
