Dakota News Now is reporting that Casey's is creating this new position in hopes of finding the perfect person capable of researching the best beer and pizza combinations. In case you're wondering, the job description does require the ideal candidate to sample them as well.

Ahh, the crosses we're forced to carry in life, right? The struggle is real!

According to Dakota News Now, along with being required to eat pizza, and drink beer for a living, another responsibility of the Chief Pizza and Beer Officer will be to create social media content regarding the research you conduct, and then sharing your findings on Casey's social media platforms.

The Ankeny, Iowa-based company is partnering with former NFL defensive lineman and internet personality Anthony “Spice” Adams to help lead up the search.

Dakota News Now reports that Casey's is the nation's third-largest convenience store chain with more than 2,600 in 17 states throughout the country.

Here's something I never would have guessed, Casey's is also the country's fifth-largest pizza chain in the country.

They are well known for having several handmade pizza options and a large variety of different beer choices. So it goes without saying that Casey's new Chief Pizza and Beer Officer will have his or her hands...and beer cooler...full.

Those interested in applying have until Wednesday, January 24th to get their applications submitted.

Somehow, I'm thinking they're going to have a few people sending in resumes.

You can more info and apply for this one-of-a-kind job here.
